My Sweet Friend Libba

I have a friend named Libba (Elizabeth) and she is so beautiful, inside and out.  For those of you who would like to follow her story, click below and read from the beginning journal entry.  She is carrying a baby that won't live very long after birth.  So sad!

Please keep her and her family in your prayers during this difficult time!

Sorry

Sorry, I don't know what happened to the video and why it won't play.  Anyway, you would have enjoyed it!  It was Ethan riding in the bjorn wtih a helmet on, while I was driving him on the scooter!  He loves it!

MODERN FAMILY

So, I have never seen a episode, but one of my best friends here in Fayetteville thought this was hilarious and said it looked like something that would be on Modern Family.  Preston got this electric scooter for his birthday and Ethan and I like to have a little fun too!  Enjoy our ride : )

Happy Thanksgiving

I am so thankful for my beautiful family!  I have such a wonderful husband!  He works full time, goes to school full time and still finds time to spend with a needy wife and kids : ).

I love this little boy!  He is so full of life!  He is such a mama's boy and wants to live on my left hip, but I know that soon enough he will grow up and be too big, so I am embracing this time with him!
And this guy, well let me tell you that he is such an amazing little boy, growing up so fast!  He is so smart and so loveable!  I am so proud of the little man he is becoming.
I love my boys!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Long Overdue : )

It has been like 4 months since I posted any pictures because for some reason my blog wouldn't cooperate with me, but today it decided to allow me to download a pic.  There are many more and I will try to post more later, but here is one of the boys.....

They are both growing up so fast!

Don't take the girl!

Everyone must remember that song by Tim McGraw sometime back..... I remember when I was younger I loved that song, never really taking the words with a whole lot of meaning back then.  Well, we had our first "Don't take the girl" moment the other night.  We were taking Preston to the pool in our neighborhood to meet our neighbor, Corey.  If you haven't heard Preston talk about Corey, chances are sometime you will.  Corey is Preston's "best friend" and lives across the street.  Everyday Preston lives to play with Corey and doesn't want to go anywhere so that he doesn't miss time he could play with Corey.  Well, back to my story..... As we were driving to the pool a neighbor beside us, Aubrey, was riding her bike and we stopped to talk to she and her mom.  We asked Preston if we should invite her to the pool and he quickly answered, "no", I am playing with Corey.  We felt bad because her mom was working outside and Aubrey was playing by herself so we invited her to the pool with us!  While she is getting ready, Preston quickly says, well she isn't going to have anyone to play with because I am playing with Corey....I guess she can play with you and Ethan.  Needless to say Aubrey played with Tim, Ethan, and I while Preston played with Corey.  It all worked out.  Preston has several friends in our neighborhood that are girls, but given the choice, he always chooses the boys!  There will come a time when this all changes, but I guess for now we should enjoy our "Don't take the girl" boy! : )

Beach Photos!

Right after Disney we went home for a few days, nursed Ethan back to health (of course one child has to get sick on vacation) and then off to the beach we went!  The four of us at the pool!

Sweet Ethan wrapped in a towel!
My little boys, playing in the sand!
Ethan relaxing in my beach chair!
 Preston digging in the sand!
Two boys wishing they could be down at the beach!
 Me and my boys!
We stopped at the ice cream shop!

 Our silly Ethan!

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

DISNEY

On our way to Disney....

Stopped off in Savannah for some fun!  Here we were going to play in the water!
The boys loved running through the water in Savannah!
The boys playing in rocks that look like Mickey while we were waiting for the shuttle to
Magic Kingdom.
Preston and pluto!
Daddy and Preston playing the Buzz Lightyear shooting game while riding!

Preston and Ethan riding something, but I can't rememer what ride it was.  Ethan loved to ride anything he could.  He kept saying "more, more" when he would see a ride and Preston isn't afraid of anything.  The only thing that stopped him from riding a ride was if he wasn't tall enough!

Hanging out at the pool.....
Ethan drinking some of Preston's drink from a restaurant in Downtown Disney (it was called T-Rex and it was so cool.  The dinosaurs "came alive" every 15 minutes).

Preston with a dinosaur and also look at his Pluto hat (can't believe he wanted this and actually wore it, but he has a friend that has one so I guess that's why : )

Can't flip the picture but its a dragon made of legos....It was so cool!
Preston and Buzz!
The boys with a painted mickey mouse!
Ethan playing air hockey at our hotel!

We had a great time in Disney, but there is so much to do there!  We also went to Sea World (those pics later : ).  We spent 12 hours at the Magic Kingdom (thanks to me) because I wanted to get it all in while we were there.  Everyone was so tired by 10pm and the next day, but we enjoyed it!

Happy Belated Easter!

Here are a few pictures from Easter!

Preston went swimming in the lake!
And Ethan watched from the pier!
We also went strawberry picking a few weeks ago.  It was something that none of us had ever done.  It was fun, but we picked so many strawberries we didn't even eat them all!

Me and my little boys : )
Ethan, not sure what to do with the strawberry, but by the end of the morning he was picking them and putting them in the bucket too!

Well, we are off to DISNEY for a surprise trip (Preston doesn't know), so it should be lots of fun!
I will post pictures from our trip later!

I know I am a terrible blogger, but here is a re-cap from the past several months.....

Our sweet Ethan turned 1!  We had an awesome birthday party at our clubhouse, with a clown, cupcakes, and lots of kids!  It was so fun and he enjoyed it!

Next, Ethan had to have tubes put into his ears.....He has had so many ear infections (just like his big brother) that I lost count.  The tubes have helped, but he is still getting them, its just I can now treat them from home rather than taking him to the doctor all the time : )
Ethan had pink eye and an ear infection, poor baby! He looks pitiful...
Preston has been rockin' it at soccer!  He loves playing and is such a great player!
We enjoy this as a family outing on Saturdays!
Ethan just cheesin' for the camera!
Preston is enjoying his dirtbike!  He is getting good too!
Ethan likes to play soccer too!
 Preston sharing rocks with Ethan....
They are so sweet!

Preston had surgery to have his tubes taken out!  He was fine with it all except when they told him to take off his pants and put on a gown : ).  The anesthesiologist went and got him some scrub pants!
Ethan got his first "real" haircut.  We shaved his head a couple of times hoping it would grow in better.
Look at his face, "You are going to do what to my hair?"
We went to a carnival and introduced Ethan to cotton candy!  He loved it, but we only gave him
a little bit: )
This was me, Ethan and Preston racing down the slide.  Tim was with us, but stuck behind the camera because of his shoulder.  Did I mention (don't have a pic of him in the hospital) that he had surgery on his shoulder?  So I am the only one that didn't have surgery in the last month, but I did have a broken hand, so that counts for something right?  : )  He was a trooper though!  I was proud of him.  After his surgery we went to lunch and to Lowes and then back home to look around the yard to see what more landscaping we needed to do (also did I mention that my rock star husband did an awesome job landscaping our yard too!  It was a big task but he did it and it looks awesome!  And he built a fence too!).  So our yard looks the best in our street, and I think in our neighborhood : ), but of course I am partial!
I took Preston and Ethan to see the Easter Bunny, but Ethan wasn't having it!  He cried on his lap so this was the best I could do for a pictre, bunny ears!
Of course we dyed easter eggs too!

Preston and the Easter Bunny playing "paper, rock, sissors"!
Ethan playing in the street with his car!
Tim riding Preston's new bike with his shoulder in a sling : ).  Glad he didn't fall, he might have
broken his face!
Lastly, the boys playing in the sprinkler and around the house in their bathing suits,
I love this weather!
